i have (2) 6ohm dvc jl12w6v1 subs in a sealed box. i am running both off a 500/1 jl amp. i have both subs wired in parallel = 1.5 ohm load. i know the 500.1 is rated 500rms at 1.5ohm-4ohm loads but i have read different post about rms at different loads. should i wire it up to 3 ohm and see if i get more power?

actually it might. the jl's will lower power output at lower impediances to keep cool. iirc. but im guessing if it did the difference wouldn't be noticable

yeah, its something jl really only likes to tell to dealers i guess. anyway
