havent heard the CVXs

but....W6v2s get pretty loud and have amazing SQ (better than the W7...I feel)

i'm not a big kicker fan, so i'll say the 12w6v2's

and if you haven't gotten the subs yet and do decide on the JL's, send me a message, i have 2 i'm going to be selling soon.

Nothing's set in stone, never heard/used the CVX

My guess would be

SPL = Kickers

SQ = JL

JL's are probably more expensive sub wise, but you need to spend the cash and get a strong amp for those Kickers, all evens out fairly well. Up to you.

i'm waiting to hear the cvx....the shop has one on the way. if it's a 12, it's going h2h with the rl-p in the TB...

i've read good things about the cvx, we'll see when it gets here.

as to jl, can't argue with it's performance. the w6's are badass subs, but i dunno if they are really worth the extra $$ when there are subs just as, if not more capable then, for less money.

my opinion, go listen to them heads up and then decide.

I bet 90% of these JL's suggestions are based solely off the name, because I bet most have not heard the CVX's yet...so to the poster: take these with a grain of salt.

i have a W6v2 myself. but am really anxious to hear the CVR, i'd go with the CVR's A. Because its different. and B. Because you can't go wrong. I've heard great things, and its not like they're using some revolutionary technology so theres nothing to worry about.
