2 DP21"s

Please read my post again. Glue might keep your box together, you only have 1100 watts.
um so taking into account that the bond of glue is stronger than the wood itself you must have not used enough glue in your application and your box fell apart. Simple as that. If done correctly the glue WILL be stronger than the screws or staples. Screws and staples are mainly used to hold the box together until it is fully cured.

The reson I preach about screws is because I ran 2 18s in my Explorer powered off of 1 JBL Crown. One day I was fooling around on the meter and my score had gone down alittle over a DB.To make a long story short, I found that my baffle had pulled apart from the box at the bottom (approx. 1/2 inch) and it was screwed and glued.

I guess if you have enough power, these things can happen.
Ya I've had that thought before, never happened though. I think it should be pretty secure though. It's going to be glued, screwed with some serious screws, and fiberglassed.

This is what I mainly like screws for, pull down and hold while everything sets.

Getting closer.

Another thousand watter telling me about building.

I've built 5 different SPL vehicles (all mine) in the last 6 years. I've also held a National Title but I don't know what I'm talking about.

They retail for $799, but they were on sale last month on SSA. I would check there since they are still on sale, just not as much off as last month.
