2 DP21"s

He already has nice amps that have enough power for those subs. And do you really think the build quality on a hifonics amp can compare to a JL audio amp?
If you are questioning the build quality on the GP3000D then you are an idiot. It has been proven time and time again it is an excellent amp, and dollar for watt the best on the market for the price. I think it is funny that just because it is a Crunch amp that it gets lumped together with all their other junk shit. But then again people talk shit about products they have never heard or tested:confused: The JL's are more than adequate for this build.

You seem to know me so well, have you tested a 1000/1 before? I don't see why you take my opinion of this amp so seriously. Of course the crunch would be better in certain applications, but since this guy has 4 1000/1s already, I don't really see the need for him to change amps.

I didn't get too much done today, too many distractions. Here's what I got done.

I may do a little fiberglassing later when I get back home.

Got the baffle done today, going to attach it to the rest of the box tomorrow along with a little fiberglassing.

what tool did u use to cut the mdf wood like that? any pics of it. thanks kinda learning to build own box.
I just used a circular saw. It's not hard, just set it to 45 degrees and keep a steady hand.

I can take a pic or two tomorrow if you want.

The reson I preach about screws is because I ran 2 18s in my Explorer powered off of 1 JBL Crown. One day I was fooling around on the meter and my score had gone down alittle over a DB.

To make a long story short, I found that my baffle had pulled apart from the box at the bottom (approx. 1/2 inch) and it was screwed and glued.

I guess if you have enough power, these things can happen.
