2 deka 9a31 vs 1 pm d3100

9a31 - Cranking Amps @ 32° F : 1000,, Reserve Capacity Minutes : 190,, $175
d3100 - Cranking Amps at 32 Degrees F: 1,200 amps,, Reserve Capacity: 200,, $349
Are you saying that the 200 CA and 10 mins of reserve in the specs justifies the double price?

First off, CCA and CA mean absolutely NOTHING when talking about car audio. Why? Because those are measurements at 7.2v. Show me an audio system that runs at 7.2v and I will sell you a bridge in Brooklyn.

As for the Reserve minutes, 10 mins is a very small difference, even if it was an accurate spec form PM.

the thread was started to see if it was worth it to buy the pm but no one seems to be able to say yes so my vote is for the dekas and that is what will be in my set up

What is your explanation for paying that much for that batt? I know they're good amps. Just wondering if you would give some of your insight into why some one would drop that much on the Pm3100.
woops ment to say batts , not amps. LOL!!!
I was advocating FOR the Dekas at half the price. I would be worried about anyone who would pay 2x for little difference, if any at all.

I have no issues with any of the major brands. Kinetik, PM, Deka, Stinger. They are all pretty much good. Dekas seem to be a better value, but companies like Kinetik support the industry more. I bought a Kinetik because of that reason.
