In the blue room, did the Lowthers play full range, minus sub bass, or did he have any other speakers in the room? I woulda liked to hear those old subwoofers. Vintage audio fascinates me. I'da also liked to hear those altec horns. It's amazing what can be accomplished with so little power.

The vintage subs were crossed over at 100hz. Yes they were playing and filling in the lower notes. Funny thing is, they weren't overpowering at all. Very subtle yet smooth bass. Scott is going to undertake the task of refinishing those old sub enclosures to bring them back to life. I am pretty sure it was low pass. The Red Room had tweeters on top of the horns but they weren't hooked up yet, at the moment, Scott is working on a crossover for those.
