2-channel amp for Focal 165V1

Hi!

I'm new in car audio and it is the first time when I'm thinking to replace acoustics and add amplifier to audio system of my car. So please, be tolerant.

I will use Focal 165V1 Kit as a front acoustics and 2-way amp. The question is which amp to choose for these acoustics. AFAIK I should choose 70-100 RMS amp, but I also heard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif that some combinations of even expensive components may lead to awful sound. For example there is an opinion on one of the most respected Russain caraudio forums, that Focal get bad result with Audison devices. Is it right? Or they simply try to sell me Polk Audio? What about other vendors, what comnination is good and what is bad?

Please see my list. I'v choose only available in the largest Russian (really, it is very small) e-store dedicated caraudio. Please comment each item. I also would be greatful to get any suggestions and additions to the list (sure, i'll find them here):

HA HA HA. I don't know who was talking the Russian car audio forum but they have some bad information. I used to run Audison with Focal and it sounded incredible. I won USACI World Finals with the set up. I have since changed to Focal amps and I personally think they sound even better, but that is my opinon. Just do some research online about the amps and see which one will give you the power you want and the cleanliness you want.

My friend just got the new Audison Amps (LRX)

And they sound great he is running focals in the front and rear using a audison LRX 6.9 and it sounds awesome

I don't know who they are, but it seems those guys are installers of car audio company which have many studio. The only argument that Focal is very harsh on high freq, and Audison too. So it would be double trouble. But may be the real reason: they have no direct contract with Focal company //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Unfortunately I have no ability to test different combinations, so I went here. Please note that I'm building lowcost system, and may be your high class speakers and amps have no this problem.
