2 Builds....

i c a problem area on ur first pic. it seems as thou the side with the angled insert does not sit flush with the back piece. gona have a nasty gap bro.

any updates? and why such a high tuning?

Going for spl. You are correct. I told my buddy he could help(he didnt set the angle right). Im having him do a lot of the grand am box. Im the one in charge of my box. I like all my stuff perfect.

The box is tuned to 48 hz so yes.
Nice. You will be surprized at how loud those things are and although you will lose some of the extreme lows it Knocks like no ones business!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Aint nothing like showing the world that 10's can be great for SPL and Daily Pounding!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

P.S. Get another 20.1;)

O ik, its soo temping. I just dont have the funds as of now. I will soon. Im thinking two 20.1's will be the way to go so i have each at .5 ohm( i think thats correct?! i have two dual 1's). But i just dont have the funds as i would need another deka and prolly a better battery up front. So id be looking at 700 or so.

Ok, well i finished the box just before i left for break(the Grand am box). We went and got it metered and as of now hes only at 144.4 on the TL. We were aiming for 145. But thats without deadening and we have not sealed off the trunk yet. My box has gone nowhere because i have been in florida. But im going to start where i left off today i think.

nice builds.

you dont have any trouble with the nailgun splitting the mdf? my dad has like 4 or 5 nailguns that i could use on my box builds.

I did actually split it once. But the split was very minor. I also had one redirect out of the mdf. o it was poking out. I just pull it out and used mdf dust and glue to fill the small hole. These are 15 guage finish nails. I would not go any smaller Gauge. Anything smaller would split a lot. Im thinking of going higher guage.

have fun getting that box in his trunk. i have just a 4.0 ^ft box, i couldnt get mine in. i had to first try with my seats down, the clearance for the top was about .5" too big.. i had to remove my back seats to get it in...
