Both need to be reconed I have recently got different subs or would recone them and use them myself. One also has a hole in the surround that happened during mouting the sub, my friend got drill happy but it has been sealed and does not affect performance or leak at all. I am trying to find pics of the subs right now so I will update the post with pics if you guys are interested. I will take 350+ shipping obo

I am pretty firm on the price you can get the recones for about 50-75, a little more for aluminum but if you get brand new it is $349 shipped for one copper coil 18"

alum recones are gonna cost more than that. they are $110 each shipped and glue is $30 (i assume it's a 2 sub glue kit)

and we're only talking motors and baskets anyway since you said they both need recones.

I was thinking the same thing. New subs would only be a little bit more when all is said and done. Your looking at another 250 for the recones on top of the 350+ shipping.

all 4 coils read 1.9 ohms on DMM. The coils are not fried and they still work it is just that they have been bottomed out.
