2 8" cvt?????? GOOD or NOT

Ive got 2 8" kicker cvts and 1000 watt mono block. i was wondrring if that would sound good in a small single cab truck. I listen mostly to hip hop/ rap, but i got this set up for free so just wondering.

best things in life are free. They will probably sound ok, I wouldn't expect a whole lot from it.

8s can't move a lot of air, that's going to limit your output. You're in a single cab truck so that will help you out a bit. If that amp actually does 1kW at the load that those subs will be wired to, you're going to have to be careful with the gain to keep from cooking them.
