2.6 is rec. spec, but ive heard that DD subs like bigger boxes

well if youve heard they like bigger boxes why are u putting it in .1 smaller......?

They do like bigger boxes tho. i had my dd3512 in a 2.0 cu.ft @ 40hz and that was nice for more SPL but ****** for daily..I built a 2.8 cu.ft @ 34hz for my next one and it sounded awesome!!! It ate up that extra .8 cu.ft with no problem. I should have built a 3.0 cu.ft next but sold it..

2.5-2.75ft^3 is fine for that sub. Tuning is just personal preference.

haha i shouldve put this to begin with. im trading a motor for a box because i am low on funds and cannot build one right now.

the box is the specs above.
