2, 3, or 4 BTL's

I already have all the necessary upgrades to electrical, so no problem there. I am doing a cutthrough in the bed of a full size truck being funneled into the cab. I want to know about how much of the bed will be taken up by setting these up. 2 subs directly fired into the cab, 3 subs, one directly in and two angled, or 4 in a pacman type enclosure. My wife just wants to make sure I have a little room for some crap like her plants and whatnot if needed. Personally, 4 would make me happy, but like any marriage, she gets her way.

Possibly compete. Would be nice to get a trophy for something...LOL! Trying to get as much with taking up as little room as possible. I know that probably wont happen. I have been told that the box would probably go about 3/4 into the wheel well of the bed of the truck.

lookin at, if 4 btl's, 2 RF4000's, if 3 BTL's, 3 kicker 2500's, 2 BTLs would probably be 1 RF4000....or to be all the same with 3 BTL's a RF4000 and a RF2000.

Hmmm. On a full size, you are normally aabout 48" between the wells, and what about 21" tall? Im sure a fair amount wider up ahead of the wells at the cab too...

Youd be probably be around 30" deep for 3 of them (and thats not optimizing the space ahead of the wheel wells either). 4 gets a fair amount more interesting as you waste a decent amount of space on the loading chamber of the box. This will move things back quite a bit further.

If you have some measurements I can really see how well and what could fit in there without taking up a ton of space.

6'6" front to back

5'3" wide

4'1" wide between wheel wells

1'10" from one end to the wheel well

1'8.5" from other end to wheel well

21" deep

These are the bed measurements

You've already done electrical upgrades that would support anywhere from 2 to 4 BTL's fully powered? That seems hard to believe. What's in your upgraded charging system? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have done the big 3 upgrade, got a 300amp alt, an additional spool of 0gauge wire when needed, 4 additional batteries other than the upgraded one under the hood. Batteries are, of course, chillin till I get the subs and everything installed. I also have a couple 40farad caps which I am hoping I will not need. Still debating on running a second alternator. Depending if I go with 4 subs, I probably will get another one installed.
