If you do a lot of comps and are using 2 18s and tuning to 38hz, why be a dumbass and not get MTs?

MTs from what ive heard sound like crap in most setups. Schmebe he wants SOME SQ? 2. Cost of subs is more. 3. You need double the power to properly power the beasts. He never said he wanted SQ, he was stating he competes a lot and wants a loud system. The 18XXXs are very close in price to the 18MTs, you could gather the cash fairly easily to spair the difference. You don't necessarily need double the power to get proper response from 18MTs, if he is already running a 2500D on 2 18XXXs, most likely he has done some significant electrical upgrades. Just look at his sig. He doesn't need bigger amps, he could upgrade by getting one more 2500d eventually. And finally, he will have headaches anyways, he's runnin 2 monsterous 18" subs aready shit lips. If I competed a lot and was going to build a wall for 2 18s and run a 2500d already and leave room for another, I would definitely consider 2 18MTs, which he is. So please, don't call me a newb, thanks bro.

I'm gonna build my box tomorrow for the L7s, I'll let you know what I think of them sometime next week. How long should I wait for the glue to dry and install the subs, maybe a day or two?

I Have 2 05 18''xxx's ,im Going To Put Them In My Explorer In A Wall At 14 Cubes,tuned To 38 Hz,with 204 Sq Inches Of Port,and Only 1 Orion 2500d For Now,ill Almost Bet Money The 2 18;s Will Sound Better And Get Louder Than The L7's,anyway Ill Let U Know How My Setup Does

wtf? xxx's at 38hz??? I thought people buy them for their sq and lower end, thats why I bought mine anyway. X2, get mt's if youre gonna go that route
