i was scared when i poped my trunk though and half the sub was comming out when it hit cause of the broken screws.. 4 more and it would have been a projectile in my car =]

and in a fart box you can get 1 of them into upper 140s

my buddy had 1 in his f150 ext cab with 1800 or 1900 on it

it was a 1 note wonder but broke 150

put them each in around 1ft3 after displacementtune to 38-40hz

what kind of power are you going to use?

you could manage going down to about .75ft3 for each.

1ft3 would be nice tho

I probably wouldn't stack them. First box that I would try is subs side by side with a 6" aeroport or 2 4".

do you want music loud or just loud on the meter? the ppl with 150db setups with 2 8s are playing 60+ hz

I had two in about 1.8 @ 38 in my ext cab f150 on a MMATS 300. They got loud but I doubt 140's, even up high.

We are getting 140.9 on one in a Firebird. 1 ft DD spec tuning. Amp is a Profile AP1200.

A few things. The subs sound great at DD tuning.

Order them X-Stiff

Rise on DD subs can be hell, So plan for more power then you need.

They are rated at 450, once you get much over that you run the risk of killing them.

People over on soundpressure say you can burp at 2k but I am unsure if that is a real 2k at rise or a 2k amp.

Word of the wise: It takes testing to find what out what your port needs to be tuned to. It's awful hard to just guess.
