actually the Merlin MD1 and 2 are both D class. the MD42 abd that ohter one is a/b. And the merlin will Blow hifonics XX and ORion out of the water. Trust me.

and if you really have the money (seems like you do), go with the AX line in mono amps they have a " new class" called DE more efficient and less Distortion.
