....im wondering what u think a real car is. i mean one that has 4 wheels a motor and stearing wheel sounds like a real car to me. besides i dont care really what car i get as long as i can get good gas mileage. unless u havent noticed its like $2.50 a gallon, and i'm not tryin to have a 10 mile to the gallon truck or otherwise v6. neway, back to car audio.

why don't you start by using that 5 grand on a real car, then worry about your system

What is wrong with a youngster wanting a low priced, great gas mileage, highly reliable car with little insurance cost. BTW accords have a pretty large trunk. I think you could fit a 15 XXX in one.

thanks man. i agree w/ u. my mom thinks a civic is too little so she said prlly an accord i could buy so thats what im thinkin lol. i might think of a 15, but man i have heard 1 12'' SX and i thought that got real loud. but i just might need a 15 XXX to out bump my brother ;P

That is one example of what i consider a real car. my mom has an accord, I am 6' 2" and i can barely get in the car, and i am cramped up with the drivers seat all the way back, i hate it.

haha well im like 5'5-5'8 maybe a hare taller. so i think a honda is a perfect "real" car for me, especially for a first car w/ $2.50 for gas these days. i mean u can run a honda till like 200k miles at least if u take care of it.

the lt1 in that impala can get to 300k easily if taken care of, although obviously your going to run into some other problems before then like transmission.

back on topic. USamps are very very good, but personally i would just run class D. usamps are class a/b and aren't as efficient as class d, and are expensive as hell. If i was you i would get something from the XX line of hifonics, orion 2500d, or many other amps depending on how much power you need.

lol i havent read up on amps at all so all that u just said is a foreign language lol. and i havent read up much on the XXX or the DP but i know they hit hard, cuz my brother wanted a IA sub and he has had a SE, so the XXX and DP are above the SE and the other IA subs.

With only a single sub you will want around 1200-1500 watts I would say. Just look at amps and look at the more expensive ones then check back on here for input on them.
