with SX's get as much space as you can. I would just take max dimensions, see what the gross volume is, and then shoot for a ported box to match that gross volume. Those 15's would love as much airspace as you can give em. I would say no less then 8 cubes preferably around 10. I'de tune low 30's
really? are you just saying it cuase thats ur box lol, jp. Im probobly gonna end up gettin it as long as it fits, just wanting to hear what other people think. Thanks
dude seriously if ur going to run an 8-10cube box man get the 18s! im telling you from experience! if u can fit 10 cubes internal that means about 12-14 cubes external depending on how much port u run. u can go 18s and have more output! the guys who said 18s need tons of room who said they ran them obviously had install issues. if u got alot of power like u do u can afford to run an smaller box. hoever if u said u had an Brutus 1600 watt amp then it would be an different story. bottom line tons of power means smaller box. just ask G-monk what tons of power and an large enclouser will do too subs? why u think meade uses such small/box/port now? remeber he had that 27 cube box before! besides u want an good mixture of low end and the higher bass like 40-60hz and with an large box tuned in the 30s ur not gonna get that.
