(2) 15" L7,TC300 15" or something else?

I'm sure everyone has this problem when first picking out subs...what to pick? This is basically what I'm shooting for and whats available...

1) Has to be loud. Now I'm not saying that I want 150dB's at 30 hertz. I would be very happy with a 145dB at like 35-50 hertz(the lower the better).

2) I listen to 95% rap, so I need the lows, and the lows needs to have authority. I'm not exactly sure how many higher frequencies rap has, but I'm assuming it's mostly 30 hertz to 60 herts right? Well whatever it is, I want the sub to play those nicely, but emphasizing more on the lows.

3)Each sub will be getting a Nine.1 most likely, so whatever can feed off 1000-1400 rms nicely at 1ohm. Don't worry about volatge or enough current, it'll be there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

4)I have a 1991 Jeep Cherokee. The back seats most likely will come out. I don't need them or care about them so I have quite a bit of space to work with. So don't worry aboput space people.

5)The price range now. Oviously cheaper is better, but I would really like to not spend more than $750 MAX on the subs. $500 would be really nice.

So what do you think. I'm torn between sealed and ported, but I'm thinking ported may be the way to go(maybe ABC enclosure????).

Most rap is much higher than 30 hertz, but some of it will dip to or under 30. The l7ds do well with rap. I say get them and tune them low. 4- 4.5 cubes each 15 tuned to 32 hertz.

I was thinking putting each L7 in 6 cubes tuned to 30-35 herts but I need to download a few programs and see what the group delay would be, and what port velocity would be like. What size enclosure should I look for with the L7's? I know Tuan has some experience with them as long as a few other's who compete with them. Any input guys?

I gave you my measurements already. 6 cubes each would work aswell though. Should be pretty loud. check your pm box

id say go with the L7, if you buy from TC sounds god knows when you'll actually get your sub, or if it will even be made with the right parts. The availability of the L7 makes it easier to pick up one.

they told me they will be shipping my package out this morning, and told me later this afternoon i will be receiving the tracking#.
