2 15' Kicker Compcvr Recomendation Help?

I am currently runing 2 Kicker compvr 15's off of a Alpine MRP-500 Amp The amp is Rated 500 watt x1 rms at 2ohms x1 & 300 watt rms at 4ohms Since this is a mono block amp does this mean i am only getting half the power from running 2 subwoofers? I also have and enclosed box my 2 subs are running in parrall in the box. I get good bass but i think it should be alot deeper than what it is? What should i upgrade? Could i possibly add another of the same amp and have them running each sub? or get a higher wattage amp or better box? Capacitor? Thanks Alot!!

way too small of an amp for those 15's. You should look into about 1500 RMS for that pair.

Capacitor?

No. If you upgrade amps and start to have a voltage problem, look up the Big 3 and do it, then add an additional battery. If you still have problems look into high output alts. In no circumstance will you need a capacitor.

i use to run those subs in 3 cubes each tuned to 32 hz and they use to get pretty loud of 1000rms they tend to get a lil stinky after a good while of playin but never quit on me... u def need more power and no caps

That wont blow the subs? There rated 500 Watt rms 1000 Peak Could i just add another of the same amp? Beause my subs are only gettin 250 rms a piece w/ my amp now right?

And how would i go about adding another amp is it difficult? or would it be easier to sell my current amp and replace it with lets say the mrp-1000?

id just grab a 1000 watt amp... the kicker amps are cheap money and ive heard if your going with alpine amps to stick to the pdx....my 2 pennies

I Just looked into those Pdx n yeeeaaaaa i cant afford those! lol how about the mpr-1000? would that be enough power? or should I get something that its 1 ohm stable and rewires my subs to 1ohm? BTW im looking to stay in the 300/350 range maybe more depening on how much i could get for my mrp-500
