they will be going in a 2007 escalade, im in the process of collecting parts, It has factory dvd/nav so that unit is staying. I need recommendations of what amp would best suit a pair of these. i plan to do jsut big 3 and a large powermaster battery out back for now.

The enclosure will be glassed and painted and im still trying to decide on a 3 way up front. i have a clean sweep to install as well. Anybody have experience running a pair? if so what would you reccomend?

I would do a 1000/1v2 to match, or a Sundown 1500D.

i thought about the jl just for asthetic purposes, the sundown would probably drive them a little harder, do any of the sundown 4 channels match the 1500 dimension wise?

i was thinkin that but im kinda in the air about having all jl audio, seems kinda played out, id like to try some different amps. plus the subs can handle a little more than the 1000/1 so maybe i can get more output.

Throw a AQ 2200d on em. Those subs can take it. Or get 2 1000/1's One on each.

those subs barely look like they're moving, what do you have them wired at?

Did a 140.1 on a tl, legal. not bad for a big van.

The 1500D is 17x9.9x2

The 100.4 is 16.5x9.9x2

im really considering running the sundowns, would be perfect down to 1 ohm and nobody ever has anything bad to say about them.
