2 12W6v2s on 1 Orion 1200D

I have 2 Dual 4 Ohm JL W6v2s with the RMS rating being 400Watts

Right now, im running them at 300 each at 1 ohm.

I want to upgrade my amp to an Orion 1200D which is 600 to each sub at 1 ohm

Would the subs be fine with 600watts to each of them?

Would they be able to handle it?

Should I be concerned about anytihng?

also, would anyone suggest any amp that would suit these subs better? my price range is less than $220

the 1200 will be fine--its not like you will be giving 600 real watts all day anyways.

i have an autotek mean machine 1400.1 on mine are they are just fine.

Ran mine on a 1200d @ 2ohms. Was a perfect match

set the gains properly, and 600 watts will not be a problem.

Thermally they should be fine. Mechanically might be a different story. That will depend on the box.
