I am new to this and I am really trying to research I got both of those subs and a box for 128. I need an amp to power them, I need ideas? I have no clue what is good for amps out there. Im not looking to spend tons of money on a class D amp or anything, but I want to make sure I am powering them right at the 150 RMS per channel and wire them correctly for long lasting and best sound and loudness thanks.

I had that sub awhile ago, and it isn't a bad sub at all, especially if you are new. I believe they can take at least 250watts each, but you probably won't need that much. you should be able to find an amp that puts out 350-500watts rms pretty inexpensively. Are your subs Dual or single voice coil? What is your budget?

They are Dual Voice coil and I believe they are 150 RMS @ 4 ohms per VC or 300 rms per sub @ 4 ohms. 200 bucks and under would be nice for the amp, I know I dont want a sony.

all you need is about 500-600w at 4ohm or 1ohm. 1ohm would mean you wire each speaker in parallel and then wire the two speakers in parallel.

that is an option, but there are much cheaper options. just look for something that has the power you are looking for, and is 1ohm stable.

Is that a really good amp? It has the subsonic filter and all that, that would almost be perfect. I likely will buy that one. Another question though, when I wire them at parallel and play them at 1 ohm, is that louder or any clearer as opposed to 4 ohms?
