2 12" shockers v.s. 2 10" w7's

I am debating on etheir getting 2 12" shockers or 2 10" jl audio W7's. I want an spl sub, and I know the shocker is great for that. But I also know the W7 can get loud as hell and look sweet in the process. Anyone know which would be better when you add up efficentcy and all that? Also, WHat kind of an amp should I run thease with, mabey 2 jbl 1200's? I also know that I will probably have to rewire my alternator and mabey get a capacitor.

every sub is just about equally efficient. .5%-.75% excluding the cyclone of 10% efficiency.

The w7 will cost much more money as opposed to the shocker I believe.

Depends what u wanna spend, theres more thatll get louder for cheaper than a w7

shocker went out of business, so if you blow a shocker, it's gone forever.....and good luck finding recone kits even for the user reconable ones.

I ran a 15" shocker ex2 off a pair of JBL 1200.1's in a 10cuft wall tuned to 64hz with over 150sqin of port and it didn't even tickle it. Was probably the loudest sub I ever owned or heard first hand.

I know who has Shocker Recone kits.......But Shocker is out of business and most are second hand or are just being reconed by those who still have kits. I do however know who has the majority of these kits.

I would love to have a Sig though. Those subs kicked azz at db Drag finals.

its rated @ 900rms but will take more 1200 would be fine for daily, contact eclipse if you need your shocker reconed
