right now I have 2 12" alpine type r and I was thinking of upgrading to either 2 12" punch hx2 or 2 12" comp vr but I don't know what would be the better buy and wich one would have better spl and sq

He already has those...but yeah they are the best out of those 3. Though if you want spl go with the rockfords, the Kickers have never amazed me. If you want better than the Type-Rs go with ED K, Adire Shiva, Diamond CM3, RE SE,
