2 12" Memphis PRs vs 1 15" Atlas

I currently have 2 x 12" Memphis PRs running in a 4 cube box tuned to 40hz and it is alot louder than most would believe, (ask ghostface if you dont beleive me) they are running about 600 watts @ 4ohm wiring. would a single atlas 15" be as loud on the same 600 watts? Would the SQ be better? SQ on the PRs is not so hot (probably because of the 40hz which is also probably why it is so loud).

If you got those pr's metered I could tell you. I did 137 on the tl with an atlas15 sealed, running off of 400 watts. Now its ported, so Im expecting close to 140 next time. The atlas will own almost anything in SQ, its a **** nice sounding woofer.

BTW 600 watts is alot, so be careful, atlases don't handle power well.

never had it metered but it was way louder than a set of RE SE running twice the power in a 4 cubed ported box just didnt sound as good.

dont think it can handle 600 watts? what about a 15" tempest? old tempest

long time no talk ruckus, i think the atlas would have better sound quality but i doubt it'd be as loud, i could be wrong though
