2 12" fi q or 1 15"mag

please dont shoot me for asking this but i am in a delima, i cant decide between two 12's and 1 15. the two twelves would be in a 5 cu ft box @28hz with a 2500D (1250 watts per driver), considering using 2 fi car audio 12"q's. my other option is to go with a single 15" in a 3.5 cuft @ 28hz with a 1200D powering (1200watts rms) and i am considering using the 15" mag that i have. which setup would be louder in the end?

would the 2 12's getting twice the power of the single 15 make a big difference?

(everything in my sig is sold, except for the mag)

They have a mag gp right now and you can get them for 350 as of now but the more that buy the cheaper they get.

BTW,I have no experience with either woofer...but I still think the 2 12's would be louder.

Thats not a bad idea. Do it!! I really want to try out a mag.

15" mags are 3.5 cu ft recommended and theers no way i can fit 7cu ft in my cavalier, 5 cu ft is probably the biggest i can go

TypeR's are recommended to be in 1.2cubes ported but sound like crap in it

yes, but your talking a bigger box for them, with the mag your talking about making the reccomnded 3.5 cu ft per driver to 2.5 cu ft not to mention i might not be able to fit the box because 2 6" aero ports would be required.. im just wondering if 2 12's with a 2500D would be worth the extra $300 over the 15" mag with a 1200D
