2 12'' alpine subwoofers (what amp will push these)

I don't know much about amps but i have 2 12'' type r woofers and trying to find a amp that won't cost to much to push them. any suggestions?

I have a ALPINE MRV-F409 4-CHANNEL AMP i don't know if it will push it enough but is it good? its a special edition amp also.

Thank you

MRV-F409 Power Ratings at 14.4V

Per channel into 4 ohms ........................... 60W, 0.08% THD

Per channel into 2 ohms ............................ 80W, 0.3% THD

Bridged into 4 ohms ................................ 160W, 0.3% THD

It's designed to power your side speakers, but could work for subs, depending on their impedance (ohm rating).

If you have Dual 4 ohm woofers, you can send each woofer 120 watts, and if they are Dual 2 ohm, you'll send 160 watts to each. Either way will produce enough sound to fill out the sub bass frequencies, but definitely underpowers the woofers. Type R's can handle 600-800, depending on how much you abuse them.

Tell us the woofer impedance, and we'll find you a better amp for cheap... so you can let the alpine do what it's meant to do... detailed mids and highs.
