here's the deal

they'll (shop) allow me to trade up

they can give me 379 for my 12w6v2 pending on the condition

its brand new,

so then anyways -

i have the choice

2 10w7s' 459+459-379=539

1 12w7 = 750-379=371

i have 600 bucks to spend

what should i get........?????????????????????????

the subs will be ran off hifonics bx1500d ...

2 10s rms for the pair is only 1000 watts..... they'd be running @ 1.3 ohms thus giving each sub about 700 watts

1 12w7 - rms is 750 watts running @ 3ohms giving sub about 750 watts exactly....

try to make your decision w/o saying whether you'd go ported or sealed please.

Originally posted by Gauntlet I'd take the one 12" to save $$, but if you have no problem spending up to $600, then I'd say go for the two 10's.
ok 600 is what i'm gettin for my other 12's so i'm allowing that money to be invested in better subs.......

If i were you, i would do the two 10w7s. Port them, and they will be nice and loud. You wont be dissapointed. I have built two setups w/ two 10w7s. Incedently, both were in a grand cherokee. One setup was powered by a 1000/1 and the other was powered with a 500/1 on each sub. Both setups were extremely loud....and sounded **** clean. The 12w7 will have a loss in output over the two 10s. ALthough, the lower frequencies of the 12 might be a concern. But, the two 10s is an awesome setup in every way. Port those suckers. You will be suprised. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif The SQ will be phenomonal as well.

Anyways, I'd go with the single 12" sub...simply because I'm fond of a single sub set up.

1st. He can trade in his w6 to get a lot of credit.

2nd. Basically best sub in the world hands down

limitkid I run 2 12W7's on an Orion 2500D and they run fine at full gain. those subs are under rated by JL. you want to push 1000-2000 WRMS into a single 12W7. well at least I do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif cause then they hit soo hard!, because the W7's are one of the best subs for both SQ and SPL I would recommend 2: 12W7's. i had 1 in my lil S10 and it rocked that truck with a 300 2 channel amp. 1 on your amp should work really good. then someday upgrade and buy a second 12W7, then you rattle kitchen tables 5 blocks away //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
