2 10's. Two chambers?

Hello all, I built a new sealed box for my 10's. I built it with just one chamber (1.5cf) for the two subs. Well my measurements were a little off and its 1/2 inch too long. It fits just fine but gets in the way just a tad. I have lots of extra wood so I'm just going to make another.

Anyway, should a box with two subs be built with two chambers or is one ok? It sounds fine with one chamber but I just don't know if its "the right way" to build a box with two subs.

ive always built mine with two just for the rigidity but one should be just fine.

Build it with braces.

Just make sure you wire the subs mono. If you have one chamber and wire them in stereo (right channel to one left channel to the other) it will cause cancellation. If you using a mono block amp.... no problem.

Thanks guys. I am using a RF mono amp. The box is not braced because it is very flat and is already built solid (38W x 7H x 15.5L). I could tap dance on that thing and have zero flex. This was my third box in 2 weeks. First was for two tens but was a little long in length. I found my old C.V. 12" and wondered what it would sound like in my Camaro so I built a box for it. It sounded ok but the hits were not sharp enough for my taste. So my third box took me only an hour to build and is built better than any box I have built in my years. The cuts were right on and everything fit like a glove. It looked so good I felt bad covering it with carpet.

What started as just an amp replacement turned into a new amp, subs, box, HU, front and rear speakers, and new wiring........ HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN
