2 10's for a convertible

So I have a pretty prime spot in my convertibles trunk where I think a box with 2 10's would fit real well. I was looking at 2 Kicker 10's; Kicker 07CVT10-4. What do you guys think? Would these work well for a 'vertible?

Also looking at a Alpine MRP-M850 for the amp. Any comments on the setup?

you may want more power for those cvt--tho that is a solid amp (just not powerful enough). how much space are you going to have for a box, cube-wise? you have to make sure you can fit two 10s in the proper box. otherwise, i'd say go with 1 12"

Convertibles have alot of trouble 'containing' the bass inside the car, there's no substantial roof. A downfiring box helps keep the sound contained within the car, and transfers the most energy to the chassis of any mounting type (another positive).

i have a pair of almost new 2 10'' rockford p2 subs that i had in a 98 mustang convertible and they sounded pretty good 100.00 for both have allen screws manual and trim plates that came wit them

dont know about the OP, the one im inquiring about is a 97 mustang gt convertible. he wants to put in a system in it but doesnt want to be disappointed so im just getting some tips for him so we can start it.

i actually did (or had done at that time) 2 compvr 12's in 2 seperate sealed boxes, and it actually sounded pretty good. granted, it was my first system i ever had and it was a mustang convertible, but it hit decently hard.

have you used these? never heard of these but they look interesting haha.

might consider some of those in my civic!
