2 1008's vs 3510

which will give the best output for daill orginal plan was a 3510 on 1500 watts but my local shop just quoted me 200 for a pair of 1008s which will be louder on about 1200-1500 watts

do u have specs for the 1008 subs if so can i have them

i would do 2 1008 based on cone area...just build a good box 4 them

DD doesn't have any of the 1008 specs on their page

http://www.ddaudio.com ,click on car audio then subwoofers and then scroll to the 1000 series. i have seen these 8's take 1 2500 orion on each for burps. never hurt them . i would say they could hold 1000 to 1500 rms daily.

sb= street beat which means score will be on music not burps and i would be using it daily

the guys on the dd fourm to not reccommend any more then 1000rms for daily to the 1008 they siad 800 is enough

DD1008 doesn't hold a candle to the output of a DD3510.
