2 10" w6v2's vs 3 10" older w6's

Hello, I have a 1987 chevy truck and planned on building a box for some subs. I have 2 12" w6 v2's now but the mounting depth is way to deep to fit them behind my seat. I can fit the 10" w6v2's and know a guy that will trade me, I also have another guy offering me 3 10" older w6's. I have plenty of power for iather set up but I just wanted to know what you guys thought would sound better (2 10" w6v2's or 3 10" older w6's. I can get the recomended air space for both set ups as well.

I would go with the 3-10W6v1s

they will get louder than the 2-10W6v2s

they also have great sound quality!
