Nothing less than 50 feet I really dont even want to cut a 500 foot spool for 50 feet but I will if thats what you want.

To tell you the truth its so heavy that it takes 2 people to pick the spool up so I dont know if I can ship a whole spool without it costing alot (250-300pds).

AC flows on the surface of the wire as where DC flows through the wire like a car battery is dc so thicker strands = more surface area for current.

this doesnt make any sense at all. more smaller strands = more surface area. less larger strands = less surface area

Not on dc current. Think about it. The power goes on the inside of the copper wire not on the outside so therefore if theres only 19 thick strands the current can go through alot better. This wire is made for High current power. They make this for power wire for houses / car battery/ heavy machinery / generators / hot tubs / ect. Power and ground.

/\ false the smaller the trands the easier it is to flow also becasue there are less gaps between the wire its easier to get a contact area to flow through. another bad thing about that big of solid wire is that its hard to manover and if it breaks u could possably loose alot of power where as in a stranded wire if 1 breaks u have tones more and will not susbstain a huge power loss like could happen if a wire strand breaks in a sold wire.

Do your homework.

1st things 1st they dont make this wire for contractors because its brittle and can break strands and can take less power than jl power wire lol... Its copper one of the softest materials and can bend what ever way you want it without it breaking ..

2nd the only reason they make 5,000 stranded 2/0 gauge audio power wire is for it to be more flexable than this. Yet this wire im selling can bend in a U like I explained.

3rd Put up any 5000 stranded wire up to this wire and youll be blown away. I know for a fact that it takes more power than 5000 dinky stranded wires. DC CURRENT GOES THROUGH THE INSIDE OF THE WIRE. How much surface area is on the inside of 1 strand of car audio wire? strip the outside off and start adding up the surface area.

This is for houses and high electrical currents. If I have to prove it I can do my math and figure out how many watts it can take more than 5000 stranded wire. Its prob around double.. BUT well see.

So next time you want to come try to ruin a crazy deal that im selling this for then ill be glad to reinform you about it. Its not like im trying to sell this for $1500 like the stores are doing. Im trying to get $700 or less lol

Try to find that deal anywhere your not going to.

200 amps doesnt seem to be alot when the kicker, knu klex, and stinger are all rated to take 300 amps loads and more

Sorry I forgot about calculating the feet. I calculated it for 500 feet of my wire. If you try to get 200amp out of 2/0 stinger wire at 500 feet your not going to. You can look up the calculators of it online.

I use this stuff all the time at work great for going into a piece of switch gear or a large electrical panel because you can bend nice corners in it and it will retain its shape however I personally would not use it in my car because its not very flexible making it difficult for a clean install where a lot of bends or curves are required.

Sorry cant sell 20 feet. I would if I could but that ruins the whole spool. It bends basicly in half like I said 4 times . Its just harder to bend than normal. I just sold 100 feet on ebay for $200.00 so I only have 400 feet left if anyone wants it?

And to whoever works with it. Tell your boss to come buy it lol. Save him alot of money .
