Yes, but it produces no more power at 1ohm than it does at 2. Your more important concern for me is what subs you are going to be using, rather than what amp to choose based on a spec. Post up the info for all to see, recommendations on your amp may change depending on the subs.

You can get 3K @ 2 ohms from a Sundown amp. It will be more efficient and easier on your electrical.
