1998 Dodge Neon R/T Trunk Specs DESPARATELY NEEDED

LOL Blog.

I'd say you need to read up on guides tutorials, and know what you're getting into before building a box. Maybe a tutorial on how to use a measuring tape.

Perhaps some basic geometry classes, enjoy.
Have you noticed that of everyone who participated in this "thread", you've left the most replies? Do you not have a project of your own? I bet you had trouble in school ... as a matter of fact, I would bet money you were home schooled. Actually, I am in my second year of college and I've taken more math classes then you probably ever will. So is it wrong of me to want to go about my project the right way and get another opinion first? That's all I wanted in the first place. Before I even started this, I did measurements, I just wanted a little insight. You know, an OPINION. Since your so into my "thread", check out my home page in a few months and see what I've done. I already know I need to study up on box building. You need to find something else to do becides bookmarking this page. Losar.

Have fun with the build. Be sure to post a log.
Hmmm....a log? Sure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

Oh, by the way, when you mount your amp to your sub box, it vibrates the shit out of it and cuts the life of the amp in half, if not about kills it.......but you already knew that, right? Isn't that why you did it?

Lol I knew it, yeah wanna know what else kills a amp, dropping a 20 lbs weight on it when it's powered up.

Those amps are pos piece's of shit...that was a temporary box I made way back, and I tossed the amp on the box..I shoved a piece of cardboard under it to help keep it from rattling.

But not all boxes vibrate, a properly braced box will be safe to mount the amps on it.

Lol, resourceful eh.

...I guess those lanzar amps weren't that bad, did survive huge voltage drops, tossed around, mis-wired/strapped when they're not designed for it...up untill I dropped the weight on one of em...it was fun.

Meh funs over, oh well...

Why would you need a 2nd opinion on what the dimensions are of your trunk? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

DOOD my trunk is 36" wide ... what do you say?

SWEET I think it is also 36" wide.

well shes right to a certain point, try to avoid excess vibration to the amps, maybe mount em with rubber between the amp/box to absorb some of these. But prediciting the life of an amp based on where its mounted is just simply ludacris. Stay fresh.
