Well its been awhile since I have been on here to do any sort of build and I could definitely use some help. I recently picked up a survivor 1996 F150 Single Cab and I am wanting to do a decent build on it.

Stock speakers - Front 6.5; rear 6x8's ( can get ring adapters if needed ). I am looking at some budget Kenwood BT headunits but I am also open to suggestions on that as well. I am not opposed to using a amp. I am not interested in adding a sub, so possibly a good mid bass driver could be useful. I've never done a single cab truck build before.

What sort of SQ speakers would you guys look into? Looking to spend around 200.00ish on all four.

Any help would be great!

Would it be worth looking into a 100.00 type component system?
It would if you dont plan on a subwoofer, but you will need an amplifier for them rather than off hu power. You could ruin them if not amplified

Its a single cab so you wont need 4 speakers. That $200 spend on a set of components but youll want to amp them. Whats your total budget for comps, amp, HU, wiring?

Thanks for all the links so far audiobann! Prolly around $400.00. Less would be nice. I do have a good wiring kit already.
