Traded a 1990 Z24 Cavalier with no brakes for this about 2 months ago.
It's '96 Ram 2500 4x4 with the 5.2 which is pretty rare in itself. Really would've preferred the 5.9 but I can't complain, basically got this thing for free.
First day home:
After taking off the canopy:
Little brakestand in the driveway
After relocating the front bumper:
What was wrong with it:
-4 noticeable dents but all seemed fixable
-4x4 didn't work
-Speedometer didn't work
-Bumper relocation mounts weren't on
-Drivers side of the hood was trashed
-Corner where the drivers door meets the hood was trashed
-Passenger side tie rod end was shot (which Dodge decideded to make the end non-removable so the entire left side of the bar had to be replaced $$$)
The good:
-3" body lift already installed
-Ran great
-Driveline seemed tight
-Trans was rebuilt
-Brand new grill and drivers headlight assembly
-Brand new taillights (I broke one wheeling //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif)
Anyways...
The 4wd was fixed by connecting a few vaccum lines, the speedometer was fixed by installing the speed Sensor correctly, bumper mounts came with the truck so those were free as well, bondo used to fix hood and door dents was free from school, and my dad bought me the $200 tie rod end in exchange for my 12" T4 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
So all in all with everthing fixed I'm into the truck for about $250 including paint and tires. (Picked up all 4 for $100 installed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif)
