1994 Pontiac Grand Am Amp install help!!

okie, i gave a 94 Pontiac grand am, i have the H.U. installed, and almost all the wires run, My Question(s) is this, how the heck do i get the power wire To the battery and then how do i hook it up? its an odd battery the mount for the terminals is on the side I called a Specailst shop in town and they said i will prolly have to drill a hole, which i don't want to unless i have to, in which case where would be the best place to do that?! also, the amp is in the trunk, where should i ground it? Thank you for all your help i miss my sound and want it back Asap!! lol

I dont know how much you know about hooking a system up but are u sure u looked for the hole in the fire wall? It would be right above the pedals on the drivers side. and if not there then check the passenger side. A rubber stopper and/or piece of cardboard should be in it.

yeah i checked all over, no hole, however i had one drilled out for me at the local stereo shop. so at least i know it was done right, and i grounded the amp(s) to the wheelwells, works very nicely, thank you for replying!

I do have another question though, i Think i have 4x6 in my front doors (haven't taken them off to check too **** cold) but if so, is there a way i can put my 6x5's in there? i have a really nice set i would love to throw in, thanks again

It depends on the size of the hole in the door, some cars i have seen have bigger holes so u dont have to cut but i put bigger speakers in my doors (97 cavalier) and i had to turn them just a little to fit. but u may have to cut a little bit of metal off.

hey thanks again, as soon as the temp gets above like 15 degrees here i may try that, it was actually not too too bad yesterday, plus i was in the trunk most of the time lol but thanks for the info
