-Most of the pictures were of things that were not very uncommon and should not strike you as surprising parallels; various walls, barbed wire, men with guns. If we start seeing pictures of Israelis executing Palestinians like in the REAL picture above then maybe the similarities are a bit more frightening.
-Civilians were intentionally targeted by the Nazis, as we all know, in a mass extermination. Palestinian civilians died because Hamas militants, who had been indiscriminately launching missiles at Israeli civilians, were hiding in densely populated areas (in some cases allegedly using the civilians as shields). Israel may have acted without regard for civilian life, but I haven't seen any reason to reason to think that they intentionally targeted civilians in the way that the Nazis targeted the Jews.
