Uhh, I think they are rated @ 17v as well. And from what I have heard they are quite expensive and not overratrd.

IIRC around $500. Decent price considering what you get. Under rated as is most of thier equipment.

The only thing i know for sure bout this amp is that it will do the rated power and more at 17V

i have that exact amp on a DD3515, it puts out the rated power. Im pleased with it, Pm me if you are interested in one cause im going to have to get rid of it soon cause of money problems

I take it you had it bench tested. What were the results?

No i have not benched it, but when setting the gains i was getting about 36 - 38 volts, so thats pretty close to rated power. i have it running at 1 ohm.

Well as far as I knew, P=IV, so unless you knew what amount of current you were drawing at that time, how can you justify that it is putting out non-clipped, advertised power?
