what does he want? looks? sound quality? features? is that $180 before or after tax or shipping?

No HU is going to get "loud", and saying he wants no sq is like saying he wants a car that doesn't roll. If "flashy" is really that important check some used pioneers on ebay. Some of those have things dancing all over the place, but you won't find new ones for anywhere near 180.

if you want it loud, but no sq, just turn it up....loud with sq...you need an amplifier....
