im trying to figure out what all i need to power an rockford bd1500.1 and a alpine pdx 100.4. idk what the factory scion tc alternator is rated at but im also trying to keep weight down as well so i actually would like to just keep it to 1 battery in the car. do you guys think this will work or should i just throw another battery in the mix?

that amp is rated at 750 watts RMS on the website and if you actually tested the amp out it would probably turn out to be around 500 rms. Companies now a days up all of their watts just for competition. and as for your 4 channel amp 100 watts is nothing. Just run 4 gauge wire all the way back to the trunk and then get a distribution block to split it up to run 2 different amps. Take more 4 gauge and run that to the rockford bd1500.1 and use 8 gauge for the four channel. Your standard alternator will be fine.

i thought so, lol didnt wanna b rude lol. but i do want to know if what i discribed will be enough for my set up. cause i will b buying the 180 alt from dc power and it idles 120. so i was thinking witht hat batter and alt i should b fine. am i right or wrong?

The alt plus batt and do the big 3 in 1/0 gauge? that dude is an idiot the Rockford will do AT LEAST 1500 watts rms I saw one at our shop that had a birth sheet that said 1897 watts RMS at 1 ohm... 400 watts more... Anyway and those alpine amps are nice also... I would run 1/0 to the back and then 4 gauge into the amps with a distribution block.

Yea that was my plan. I only want 2 take my seats out once and b done with it. I will be doing the big 3 in 0 guage. I may just run a small powermaster in the back 2 b safe. But I'm gonna go ahead and give it go with what I mentioned. Ill let y'all kno how it goes
