18 SX or MT

I have a 99 4 door tahoe with a 05 XXX 18 in 13 cubes tuned to 28HZ. This setup is for daily. The vent is easily removable and can be replaced with a higher tuned tube. The question is with the power I have would I see a signifigant gain in spl by switching to a 18sx or 18mt(I would burb the MT at .7) tuned higher for comps. I have access to both, I would just have to choose one or the other. I could do the switch before comps, it would take no time at all. Below is a list of what I am using.

200A HO alt

Yellow top under hood

1/0 big 3

1/0 to amps

(1) kinetik 2400 at amp

Hifonics Gen XX Hercules 2000rms at 1ohm

Yeah, I was just concerned that whatever that amp would put out at .7(2000-3000??) might not be enough for the MT, whereas I know the 2000 at 1ohm would push the sx to the limit. And maybe you guys could give me an opinion of what the SX or MT would do compared to just tuning the XXX higher. Thanks.

MT should beat the XXX in output easy, dont know if it needs a 13cube box though

well, depends, if you want to compete a good bit, the SX will do better off 2000, because MT will laugh at that for a burp

The MT is very efficient, so it should be louder off the same power, only thing is I don't know if it will be a HUGE difference. You should notice it but if I were you I would add more power as well.

Still got to hook up the amp on the highs, but we got the hercules running this afternoon and played with it a bit. It was pretty impressive. Kinda hard to tell though with nothing at all above 60Hz. We should wrap it up tommorow.
