The Rlp can get loud,sound great and bang lows.

Lol DD sound great daily. I dont see how people think they are just one note wonders,All DD sub I have heard make great daily subs.

problem is, it's a single 4 ohm coil. won't get the power from the amp. otherwise that or the rl-p18 would be my choices...

maybe the dc sound stuff.

but the IXL18's rms is I believe 800 watts, which is probaly around what that Rockford puts out at 4 ohms, and leaves you headroom to upgrade later.

OK..I have narrowed it down to the BL and RL-P...

I have an amp now that can give the RL-P 900 watts... Its RMS is 1000...THink the Rockford 1501bD would be too much for it? Or should I just stick with my current amp for the RL-P?

Between the RL-P and BL... Which do yall think would be louder? If I get the BL, I'll definitely be getting the 1501bd. That would probivde with an advantage of 700 more watts....Could the BL produce near the LOWS the RL-P would??

And would both of them be louder than my current setup in sig?

ive never heard a BL, but i can vouch for my rl-p 15, not that it does any good. But if the 18 sounds as good as the 15 and gets louder, than i would definately buy one, as i plan to.

Because there's no way I would use that RL-P and only use a fraction of my amp. Throw that full 1700 at the BL.
