18" in a Jetta?

I'm very interested in putting an 18" in my trunk but the box needed is 5-8 cuft. Anyone know if thats necessary? Or if it is, will it fit?

Dimensions of the trunk? *Might* be 5cf in there, but 8 would be pushing it. might want to try a pair of 12's, or even some 10's and give them enough room to breath. Most 12's can do sealed in about a foot or so, some 10's even smaller.

yopu could probably make it work..

glass in the spare tire well, glass the sides, fire it into the car..

but you would probably lose all trunk room, and be hard pressed to fit the amp/batteries in there

its possible, but youll be hard pressed to do it without getting very very involved

Guy on youtube has one FI Q 18 ported and its around 7 or 8 cubic feet, he had to fiberglass the wheelwell to get the additional airspace let me see if I can find the vid.

you can do it then, i would say go with one 15
