18" FI BTL or 18" AQ HDC3?

Which one of 2000+ watts RMS? Looking for the loudest and best sounding woofer out of the 2 mentioned. This is for daily driving. The BTL's have the double stacked mags.

Either should hit hard with that amount of power. I did a box for an 18" BTL off only 1200watts and it hit hard, but didn't get to hear it enough to comment on the SQ.

Did a box for 2 18" AQ's getting 2k each and it's stupid loud for daily...

I'm old and don't know what loud is, but I just threw a copper coil hdc318 and an AQ2200 in my truck and I think it gets downright loud, doesn't sound too bad either. Seems to take the 2200w fine too...no stinky

Why do people still say this? The btl doesnt need 3k watts.

They are not the new BTL they are the older model BTL's just without the 3rd mag. They do have cooling however. And the BTL's are cheaper than the AQ's

Not true, go take a look at the site, for a 15" btl its $409 shipped for the basic, and for a 15" HDC3 its $249 shipped. I think AQ wins that one
