Sold 18" Cerwin Vega Strokers

Hey guys, Im looking to see if theres any interest in some used strokers, they need to be rebuilt, but I have the rebuild kits, and all the original boxes for them, I have 7 of them, I forget what the ohm configuration is but if theres any interest Ill pull them out check it out, im not sure what these are going for these days so Im not sure of what to ask for them, drop me some offers through pm if you guys are interested, thanks---Dinty

Problem is that looks like the single 4 ohm voice coile stroker kits, another is that personally i'd only get a stroker recone by a dealer and in order for them to do it they have to get the kits from cerin vega

Well the guy who owns them was a cerwin vega authorized dealer, he used them in his competition van but switched to different subs, they are def dual 2 ohm setups, and he got all the kits directly from cerwin vega, he went through many rebuild kits with the older ones he had, not these but another set he had, but rest assured these are from a dealer

why not rebuild them and then sell them as fresh reconed stroker 18s? I think you would have better luck that way, because alot of people cannot recone them and it will cost more money to send them off to be reconed and good luck finding someone to do them...

Very nice, i like that, thanks for the help:laugh: , yea i have never reconed a woofer before but from reading that post it doesnt seem too difficult, im sure theres some fine measuring of stuff to make sure it will play correctly but ppl on here would probably help ya with that, we were going to recone them and sell them but we just dont have the time right now, hes in construction and i work in a restaurant and the summer is the busy time for oth of us, weve been trying to get together to do these subs for about 8 months now and we decided to just sell them cheap and let people reap the benefits, theyre awesome sounding woofers but we jus dont have the time right now,

lots of pms and people saying they want them but no money yet so all 7 are still available, i thought they would of been gone by now . . .

bump, a lot of interest but no ones comin up with the money, if they were rebuilt would anyone be interested in them? the price would be higher but not sure how much, let me know if anyone is interested . . .

why would you jack the price up? Because you have to rebuilld them? Essentially someone would be getting the same product, but instead of not put together it would be assembled so your going to charge an assembly fee? If that was the case listing a final price reconed would help alot
