Wasn't sure if it should go in amp section or sub section, so I just put it here since it could belong in both //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have this speaker sitting in my room making an imprint in my carpet. Trying to figure out what amp I should get to power it. I would like to hear any and all of your input as to which amps I should look at. Keep in mind it is a dual 2 ohm speaker and would like to wire it to 1 ohm load.

It's going to be going in a daily driver vehicle if that matters at all, but I'm interested in any ideas you got. We'll say budget is $500 but I would like to spend less as I'm cheap but think that might be a good starting point

Thanks for your input,

Michael

probably somethin from hifonics, they're pretty cheap but ive never had one benched

idk how much the BTL's can handle but i kno they can handle a lot

maybe a BXI-2006 (or 2008, not sure which one) but thats probably not even enough power

those are som hungry f*n subs:D

i have 2 btls running at 2k-2.5k rms each. it doesn't move that much. and doesn't even get hot.

btls can handle a lottt of power. i say go with at least 3k rms. aq 3500d or sundown 3000d , hifonics thor.

Aq 2200D and use the extra 100 for electrical upgrades.
