18 inch Robot under ground built sub

tcsounds/lightning audio 3hp ceramic motor, he told me itd take 2500 rms...? all its ever been fed was whatever the power acousit BAMF 5500 puts out at 2 ohm load on stock electric.... mech id say 5/10 heavily used till i lost my liscense about 3-4 months also has small bend in basket and one coil reads 0, never put any effort into fixing it just used some rope caulk. may be fixable with some bolt tightening. 7/10 cosmetic for bend and scuff marks on surround.

update:

put coils on DMM and one reads 3.3 other reads 0 looks as if one coil is burnt, but sub still played when i pulled it out of box? willing to tear it apart and sell jsut the motor if anyone interested.

So far in your earlier posts you said it was working, then you said it might have a bad coil, now it has a bent basket //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif. If you would have been straight up in the beginning I might have bought this off you but every time you change the description I became less interested.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i posted the bent frame in first post... and it was working when i used it last, when i tested coils one of them showed up as 0, when it was initially posted it was still installed in my car. so all i knew of was the bent frame. I found out about coil after pulling it. sorry iof i confused you, but i did update my thread to show that it had a bad coil. as well as telling you via pm. sorry for not knowing ahead of time. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I apologize for the confusion.

the basket is bent around the top so that 1/4 of the mounting holes are not flat to the box, if you search from when i first joined this forum you can find where i was asking about a remedy and went with using rope caulk to seal up the gap.
