ahh...err...sorry to interrupt but according to my research, the loudest db drag sound record is 177.1 back in 2002 in germany using viper amps and subs. how many amps? how many subs? they didnt tell.

8 amps 1 sub...... to do that wouldnt u put 2 amps on each coil? wich would mean that the sub is a quad? and ive heard quad subs are not alowed at dbdrags.

Quads are 100% LEGAL for ALL organization.

However you can only use 4 total conductors to each sub in drag. That effectively means that all QVC subs must be reduced to DVCs for competition.

This is a new rule for this year; 8 conductors per sub was legal last year.

What did they do ?

Not letting ANYONE look to see their install. Even after the judges came up to them and told them to open their vehicle or be disqualified.

At that point, they complied, but then they stood in the open doors, draped towels and banners over the open doors and covered the winsheild with towels and banners.
